Mara Cavalli is a video and documentary maker whose interest in printmaking techniques explores ways in which these distinct art forms can converge and dialogue. Her work is concerned with exploring the intersection between private and public spaces, between individual and collective histories.
For this residency at the Derry Print Workshop, Mara plans to further investigate the connections between photo-etching, video and film, through the exploration of the relationships between memories, sound and architecture.
This residency is in collaboration with
Derry Print Workshop and it is produced in the context of
HEARTLANDS, Art Arcadia’s nomadic programme of residencies developed in collaboration with local businesses, organisations, community groups.
