The Ghost Floor

During summertime I work in a unusual open space, in between floors of the apartment block.

I call it the ‘ghost floor’, or the ‘ghost corridor,  because the neighbors never use this part of the building.

In this time of social distancing, this abandoned space turned out to be a perfect place for children to leave the house and play in the open air, and even for joggers who can do laps of the space to stay active.

In this video I am speaking about some works in progress, a large painting ‘Cassate Siciliane’ and a small drawing ‘Via del badile’.
